Perennial. Blue to purple flowers with yellow centers appear in late Summer to late Fall. 
To germinate, needs 60 days cold, moist stratification. Best Winter sown. 
Full to partial sun.
Moist to wet soil. 
Grows 3' - 5' when fully mature. May or may not bloom first year. 
Space plants 2 to 3 feet apart.
